About
Shannon.
I invested the first 20 years helping organisations grow.
I invested the next 5 years examining what causes it to stall.
Founder & Co-Architect, Human Operating System Architecture (HOSA)
Commercial Advisor, Trainer, Consultant
Forensic Facilitator
For most of my career, I have helped organisations grow.
I worked across business development, go-to-market strategy, product development, market intelligence, communications, and strategic delivery. My clients ranged from technology companies and start-ups to funds firms, banks, and organisations operating in highly regulated environments.
Growth was always the objective. More customers. More revenue. More adoption. More impact.
Yet over time, I became fascinated by a question that sat underneath almost everything I was doing.
Why does growth emerge for some people, teams, organisations, and ideas, while others struggle despite intelligence, effort, expertise, and good intentions?
The more closely I looked, the less interested I became in tactics and the more interested I became in the underlying architecture.
I stepped away from corporate life to investigate that question properly.
What followed was five years of research, study, writing, observation, experimentation, and lived experience. The journey took me through complex dynamic systems theory, psychology, body psychotherapy, behavioural change, perturbation recovery dynamics, leadership development, trauma, human performance, personal transformation, and the science of growth itself.
Along the way, I published four scholarly papers, completed my MSc in body psychology, wrote a book on the science of growth, and co-architected Human Operating System Architecture (HOSA).
HOSA is an interface that reorients more than 1100+ modalities and transformational bodies of work. It explains why some change holds and why some change fades by morning. It is a way of understanding how people, systems, environments, constraints, behaviour, and capacity interact to produce outcomes. HOSA remains in active beta development and is expected to enter its next phase following investment circa 2027.
My return to commercial work is informed by this journey.
I combine strategic thinking, systemic understanding, commercial experience, and practical execution.
Sometimes that means helping a promising initiative become commercially viable.
Sometimes it means restoring momentum to a project that has stalled.
Sometimes it means helping leaders make better decisions, navigate complexity, and see situations more clearly.
In every case, the objective is the same: create the conditions for meaningful progress and reliable results.
My accent is Canadian.
My passport is Irish.
I live in Dungarvan on Ireland's south coast.
